Not all of the UK. If memory serves correctly, the change is that the Nottingham police now treat catcalling as a hate crime.

Yeah, no, you don't. The times I've been catcalled it was degrading and gross. ("Hey, bitch, get back here and suck my dick" is not flattering. Also, I am fat and middle-aged, and the times I've been catcalled I was wearing sweats and a winter coat. It has nothing to do with looks, and everything to do with reminding you that, to some men, you are not a human being.)
